Fragmentedmentalconfetti’s fallout zone

my written testimony of the quest to reach my dreams

Who am I? March 30, 2008

I am a creative person, and my creative mission is to live an out-of-the-box lifestyle. I work with toddlers at a daycare. The kids are usually between 16 months and 24 months old. It is a chaotic and creative atmosphere. It is an environment rich in sensory joy. There is lots of color, art, toys, pleasant scents and icky scents, laughter, crying, babbling, jumping, running, dancing….. Why I like it, I don’t know… but it’s the only thing that I have been paid for that causes me to actually wake up and want to go to work more often than not. Toddlers are always curious about everything and they love unconditionally and teach me how to enjoy my life and not be fearful about living. Every day I get hundreds of hugs and love from the kids. I also get bruises and germs and headaches…. but I guess every job has yucky characteristics. The kids keep my childlike personality blazing….

For fun I like to get out in the beauty of nature.. especially in nature parks with nature trails, botanical gardens, seashores, mountains. I love art festivals, museums and concerts if I like the music. Most of what I listen to is alt-rock. The Smashing Pumpkins, U2, Live, Evanescence, Switchfoot, Coldplay and the Newsboys top my music list. I love movies that mess with my mind — like The Matrix Trilogy which is my favorite. I really love sci-fi and drama flicks tend to be my favorite genres.

I am a Christian and am involved at church and enjoy being there. I do have a personal relationship with Christ and that is the basis of who I am and where I go in life.

Basically, I am neat to know!

I have browsed your blog a bit and I have enjoyed it. Isn’t God amazing!!!! I’m so head over heels in love with Him that I can barely contain it most the time. Check out my Hallelujah blog if you’d like. http://myplacetoshouthallelujah.blogspot.com/
